Endoscopy

Endoscopy

Certain operations on the intervertebral disc and vertebral joints can also be performed endoscopically. The surgeon uses a tiny camera attached to the tip of the endoscope to control and track the instruments in real time on the screen.

In particular, minimally invasive relief of constrictions in the nerve root area can be treated safely.

Another application of endoscopic surgery in our clinic is the therapy of spondylarthrosis. The smallest nerves that supply the vertebral joints and pass on the arthritis pain are removed by means of a special probe.
